A Blooming Success: Our Garden Festival Wrap Up
Share
What an incredible 10 days it has been! Our garden festival was a dream come true, welcoming over 2,800 visitors to Bee Valley Flower Farm. Every moment was made possible thanks to our amazing volunteers, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes – we simply cannot thank you enough.
We brewed 1,000 cups of complimentary tea and coffee to keep everyone refreshed, and a special shoutout to our caterer and neice Danyall from Booming Buttercream, who sold out of her delicious offerings every single day!
A highlight for many of our guests was the visit from Geoff and Liz from the NZ Bumblebee Conservation Trust, who stayed with us in our glamping cabin for five nights. Their live bumblebee nest and engaging presentations were a real treat and left everyone buzzing with excitement.
I was genuinely overwhelmed by the turnout for our farm tours, and we felt privileged to showcase three other amazing local crafts ladies in exchange for their volunteer hours – what a wonderful way to support our community.
And of course, we were blessed by 10 days of sunshine, which made our flowers, farm, and festival sparkle even brighter.
Thank you to everyone who visited, volunteered, and contributed to making this festival so memorable. We are already counting down the days until next year – can’t wait to do it all over again!
Lastly, a special thanks to Jess and her team at TAFT who are the organisers of the Taranaki Centuria Garden Festival - you are all amazing x
